Kookies Crafts is a family run business in Woolston, Southampton. We offer a range of weekly and monthly workshops covering a range of crafting and creative mediums. From Powertex (Viv's speciality) to Mindfully making it, our resident mindfulness and craft group for parents and children. Alongside our regular and one off workshops we can offer one to one workshops, birthday parties for children or adults and we are always keen to get involved with the local community. We also have a range of crafting supplies for sale, our focus is to help as many people as possible fall in love with crafting so everything in our shop is competitively priced. Our hero product is our craft packs, now available as a monthly subscription. Viv also makes gorgeous memory bears and various custom orders of handmade unique gifts.
I am the owner of Kookies Craft and my daughter owns The Oven Door bakery above us (we really are a family business). Crafting is something I have done most of my life, from school projects to teaching one to one workshops. Crafting is stress free, therapeutic and self satisfying and I truly believe anyone has the ability to craft. One of my biggest crafting passions is Powertex and I am a register stocklist and trainer of Powertex. I offer a fantastic range of workshops for all ages and abilities plus handmade unique gifts, craft supplies and craft packs.
Also part of the family, Viv is my mother in law. I assist Kookies with social media, marketing and the website and I run my mindfulness and craft workshops for parents and their little ones out of Kookies Workshop. My business is called Mindfully making it, click here if you want to find out more. I have always been creative and did a Fashion & Textiles with Business degree. After having my daughter in August last year I have fallen back in love with crafting and creating. I think its the perfect mindfulness activity and like Viv I love that it is accessible for everyone.
